A driver sustained life-threatening injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Edmondson Pike.
The wreck happened in the 5500 block of Edmondson Pike at the intersection of Brighton Valley Drive just before 8 p.m. Saturday.
Police said the driver of a white Toyota Camry left the roadway for an unknown reason and hit a stone wall.
The driver was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities said the cause of the crash remained under investigation.
