Police have been attempting to find the person who shot a woman in a parking lot off Murfreesboro Pike in South Nashville.
The shooting happened sometime before 4 a.m Sunday.
Another driver said he saw the woman weaving through traffic and thought she might be drunk.
He pulled up next to her only to see the rear passenger window was shattered and that she'd been shot.
Right before the victim was taken away in an ambulance, she told police she'd been shot at 1128 Murfreesboro Pike.
Authorities found shell casings and glass in the parking lot of that address.
