Edgehill Cafe Hosts Its First Ever Tree Lighting

Posted

A local coffee shop has been celebrating the holidays with its first ever tree lighting.

Several people came out to see the Edgehill Cafe's first tree lighting since moving to its new location in Edgehill Village.

The event served as its Christmas kickoff but also helped get some of the community familiar with the business.

Guests who came to the lighting enjoyed some treats from the shop's expanded menu.

“There’s a lot of changes, so with the holidays, we figured we’d do an open house, invited people in for a tasting. Dulce Desserts was doing the same thing,” said Jack Egan, head barista. “Just kind of got together, did a little countdown, lit the tree, had some cider and hot chocolate.”

The restaurant stayed open after the ceremony and served customers a full-service dinner.
