An endangered child alert has been canceled for an infant in Middle Tennessee.

Those with the Putnam County Sheriff's Office said a 1 1/2 month-old was to be placed in protective custody when the baby’s mother, Shawana Leanne Bartlett, fled with him.

The infant has since been found safe in Jackson County.

Authorities said Bartlett has been wanted by the Jackson County Sheriff's Office and the White County Sheriff's Office on outstanding warrants for failure to appear and a probation violation.

Officials also confirmed she has a lengthy criminal history, including arrests for drug possession.
