Two men have been injured in an exchange of gunfire just north of Nashville.
The incident happened after 2 a.m. Sunday in the 3000 block of Brick Church Pike at what police said has been a clubhouse for a motorcycle club.
Reports said two men were found with gunshot wounds.
According to a preliminary investigation, a victim said he was shot by a suspect. That victim had injuries to his shoulder and hand.
He was taken to Skyline Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The victim returned fire on the suspect, striking him in the head. That man was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
No identities had been released.
Authorities said the circumstances surrounding the shooting remained under investigation.
