The Nashville International Airport has advised travelers to be aware of heavier passenger volume over the next few days.
More than 80,000 people were expected to attend this year’s CMA Music Festival, in addition to the thousands who traveled to Manchester for Bonnaroo.
Flyers should be prepared for both heavy passenger volume and longer wait times in security.
Airport officials said they are expecting record-breaking numbers this week into next, including:
- Sunday, June 12: +21,000 departing passengers
- Monday, June 13: +23,000 departing passengers
- Tuesday, June 14: +19,000 departing passengers
Anyone traveling through BNA over the next few days was advised to arrive at least two hours early. Also be sure and check your flight status before heading out.
