A family fleeing Hurricane Matthew was involved in a crash on Interstate 24.
The incident happened around 3 a.m. Friday on I-24 West near the Haywood Place exit.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said another driver struck their vehicle and flipped across the interstate.
The driver of the sedan hit two walls and rolled across the interstate.
He told NewsChannel5's Alexandra Koehn that he crawled out of a window while his car was on its hood.
Despite how bad the crash appeared, officers on the scene said no one was hurt.
The family had been vacationing in Fort Lauderdale and cut their trip short due to the storm.
