Police have asked the public’s help in locating a convicted felon wanted in Franklin for shoplifting.
Officials with Franklin Police said 35-year-old William Earp has eluded officers on more than one occasion.
Earp, of Murfreesboro, is a convicted felon on probation and is now considered a fugitive.
On January 11, Earp allegedly ran from T.J. Maxx Loss Prevention Officers who were attempting to arrest him for shoplifting.
Police said he got into his vehicle and nearly hit a shopper while fleeing.
He’s now wanted for felony theft and reckless driving.
Information on his whereabouts is worth up to $1,000 with an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers at (615)-794-4000.
