A Murfreesboro pizzeria has been temporarily closed after an early morning fire broke out in the building.
Crews were called to Sir Pizza, located on Veterans Parkway, around 4 a.m. Friday.
According to officials with the Murfreesboro Fire and Rescue Department, the blaze appears to have started in the oven and vent fan area.
"Crews were able to extinguish the fire quickly," said Shift Commander Daryl Alexander.
Officials said the restaurant will be closed until further notice.
