No injuries were reported after a fire in Oak Hill.
The fire happened Sunday night at a home in the 1000 block of Gateway Lane.
Authorities said a woman got out of the home and called 911 after smelling smoke.
Firefighters found smoke coming from the exterior when they arrived at the scene.
"There was heavy smoke around the roof of the house," said Fire Captain Jami Laster. "The fire was contained to the inside of the house in an interior room."
The fire found in an interior room was quickly knocked down. It only spread to an adjoining room, but officials said the home was not a loss.
"Two or three of the rooms are pretty tore up," Captain Laster said. "We had to pull ceilings to gain access to the attic to make sure it did not spread to the attic."
The cause of the fire had not yet been determined.
