An investigation got underway in west Nashville after a home was destroyed by a late-night fire.
The incident happened along the 500 block of Newton Avenue just before 11 p.m. Monday.
When Nashville Firefighters arrived, the home was fully involved with flames shooting through the roof.
No one was home at the time of the blaze.
Investigators were working to determine out how the fire started. In November 2015, an arsonist set fire to a house on that same street.
No additional details were known.
