A Storm 5 Alert was placed into effect for our viewing area due to the threat of possible flash flooding.
A Flash Flood Watch was issued for most of the counties in our viewing area until 3 p.m. Monday. The watch was issued Sunday night. Click here to view all weather alerts for each county.
With heavy amounts of rainfall continuing through the night, there's a flash flooding threat and a good chance Monday morning's commute will be impacted by the rain in some areas.
The Storm 5 Alert has since expired.
Some of the counties in the western portion of our viewing area received around four inches of rain as of 7 p.m. Sunday.
