Travelers through the Nashville International Airport were asked to expect more flyers and arrive earlier on Monday.
Nashville Airport officials said in a Tweet Saturday that flyers should expect heavy passenger volumes over the weekend into Monday.
Reminder: Expecting heavy passenger volume Sunday and Monday due to the marathon. Plan to arrive at least 2 hours early.

They also advised travelers to arrive at least two hours early.
More than 30,000 people participated in last weekend’s St. Jude Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon.
Many of those participants were expected to fly out either Sunday or Monday.
