Franklin Woman Arrested For 4th DUI

A woman in Franklin has been arrested and charged with her fourth DUI.

Authorities said the incident happened around 10:50 a.m. Tuesday when the suspect, identified as 54-year-old Janel R. Rollins, allegedly drove into a concrete wall in the City’s Fourth Avenue Parking Garage.

Officers were called to the scene after witnesses saw the incident take place.

Police said they found an open container of alcohol in Rollins’ vehicle and were able to determine she was under the influence.

Rollins was charged with her fourth DUI, as well as driving on a revoked license.

She was booked in jail on a $6,000 bond. Reports stated she has been scheduled to appear in court at 1 p.m. August 18.
