Funeral arrangements have been made for Country Music Hall of Fame member Bonnie Brown Ring, who died over the weekend.

A publicist for Brown said she died Saturday of complications from lung cancer. She was 78.

A visitation has been set for Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle, Arkansas. A funeral service would follow the next day at 10 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church.

Brown was one of three siblings whose smooth harmonies as the Browns influenced generations of singers from the Beatles to Lady Antebellum.

Her brother, Jim Ed Brown, died in 2015, also of cancer.

With sister Maxine Brown, the three helped define the Nashville sound of the 1950s and '60s and were inducted in 2015 into the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
