Those with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said funeral arrangements have been finalized for Special Agent De’Greaun Frazier.
TBI officials said the 35-year-old was killed while working alongside several agents and the Metropolitan Narcotics Task Force during an operation Tuesday.
The man who allegedly shot Frazier, identified as 23-year-old Brenden Burns, was taken into custody and charged in the fatal shooting.
Frazier had just joined the TBI in early 2016. Prior to that, he had been a police officer with the Millington Police Department where he also served on a DEA Task Force.
Those with the TBI said he was “hard-working, enthusiastic, and dedicated to making Tennessee a better place to live.”
Visitation for Frazier has been planned for 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16 at Bellevue Baptist Church in the 2000 block of Appling Road in Cordova.
A Sea of Blue route has been planned as everyone leaves the church following the visitation.
Frazier’s funeral will be held at the church at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17 with his burial following at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery in the 5600 block of Poplar Avenue in Memphis.
Frazier was survived by a wife and two children.
