Funerals Held For 2 Blackman High School Students

Family and friends came together to remember two teens killed in a crash in Rutherford County.

A visitation and celebration of life service was held in honor of 16-year-old Johntae Adams at New Vision Baptist Church in Murfreesboro on Saturday.

A visitation and funeral service for 16-year-old Ethan Economy was held Saturday at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.

Both teens were students at Blackman High School.

The crash happened July 15 at Dilton Mankin Road and Wilson Overall Road southeast of Murfreesboro.

Three other teenagers were also injured in the crash.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol has continued to investigate the cause of the crash.
