Country Music superstar Garth Brooks has announced plans to play a free concert at Ascend Amphitheater.
The announcement was made Monday morning during a press conference with Governor Bill Haslam.
The show has been set for 7 p.m. on October 24. Fans can get more information on how to get tickets by following Tennessee Tourism on Snapchat (@tennessee).
The concert comes as the state celebrates Garth's 7 Diamond Certifications - meaning, one certification equals 10 millions albums sold and one more than The Beatles.
Brooks becomes the first artist to hit this milestone in any genre of music.
Haslam also named Brooks as a Special Ambassador of Goodwill to the State of Tennessee.
