A gas leak has evacuated a business and blocked roads south of Nashville.
The incident happened Saturday afternoon. Officials with the Nashville Fire Department said a construction crew hit a gas line while working near Wallace Road.
Officials confirmed the Women’s Imaging Center of TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center had been evacuated. That evacuation was lifted later Saturday afternoon, but the business said they would remain closed till Sunday.
Metro Nashville Police officers said they had blocked the roads in that area while the fire department worked at the scene.
