A child was taken to an area hospital after she was struck by a vehicle in Nashville.
The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. Monday at Massman Drive and Glastonbury Road.
A witness at the scene said a group of children were at the bus stop when a driver, who was reportedly blinded by the sun, struck a 9 or 10-year-old girl. The child was taken to an area hospital.
Metro Police officials said the child is expected to survive and may have run out in front of the driver.
No additional details were available.
