A Good Samaritan, who was trying to help a man in need, ended up getting kidnapped, beaten and robbed in Rutherford County.
The incident happened just after 7 p.m. Monday in Murfreesboro.
Officials with Murfreesboro Police said a man was driving when he saw another man jumping up and down waving for help.
Police said the driver slowed down to help the man, but the suspect pulled out a gun and hopped in the victim's vehicle.
The robber pointed his gun at his head and demanded $500.
The victim drove to his Bank of America, where he took money out of his ATM and gave him the money.
At that point, the suspect instructed the victim to drop him off at another location.
Police said the man made several threats before pistol whipping the victim and taking off on foot. So far, no arrests have been made.
