A Robertson County family’s home was said to be a total loss after an early morning fire.
The incident was reported before 3 a.m. Monday on Fisher Court in Greenbrier.
Officials on the scene said a family of four escaped the blaze.
One of their dogs was able to get out with them; however, another dog had been missing for some time before running back home.

At one point, flames could be seen shooting from the front door. The fire has also caused a lot of thick and heavy smoke in the area.
According to one fire captain, the blaze was not believed to be suspicious at this time. He said one fireman suffered an asthma attack but is expected to be okay.
The cause remained under investigation.
No additional details were known.
