Gunman's Identity Sought In U.S. Bank Robbery

Police said they’re trying to identify a gunman who robbed a local U.S. Bank branch.

The incident happened around 11:20 a.m. Saturday at the bank’s branch in the 100 block of McGavock Pike inside Kroger.

According to reports, the man demanded cash from the teller at gunpoint. When she complied, the gunman fled on foot.

He was described as a black male who appeared to be in his mid-40’s, standing around 5’9’’ tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds.

The suspect was wearing a gray wool cap over dreads with dyed tips.
