An overnight fire completely destroyed a home in Davidson County.
Officials said the fire broke out around 2 a.m. Sunday at a home in the 700 block of Work Drive.

According to those on scene, the flames were so bad a car in the driveway also caught on fire.
Authorities confirmed the family, a couple and a child, made it out of the home.
The woman was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation, and officials said a firefighter also went to the hospital for heat exhaustion. Their conditions were unknown.
Details on other possible injuries had not been released.
Reports from officials said the home was a total loss.
The cause of the fire remained unknown. An investigation remained ongoing.
