Police were called to a home in east Nashville after a homeowner fired shots at a man who was lurking in his yard.
The incident happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday on Marswen Drive in the Gra-Mar Acres neighborhood.
A homeowner told Metro Nashville Police officers that he heard a noise in his yard and got up to check it out.
He said he saw a man coming towards him and fired what he said was "a few" shots with a handgun.
The homeowner told police the unidentified man took off in his backyard.
Officers responded and were seen looking for the suspected prowler.
There was no specific description of the person. The homeowner said he was wearing a hoodie with the hood up.
