For anyone who has been searching for a job, it’s time to pass out the resume.
The Hospitality Industry Job Fair has been going on at Music City Center.
Representatives from several of the city's major hotels, attractions, and restaurants have been on hand to accept applications.
Organizers said the fair will result in hundreds of new jobs.
“So hopefully there will be a lot of folks who can get a new job, an exciting job,” said Greg Adkins, of the Tennessee Hospitality and Tourism Association. “If someone wants a change of career, or if they're bored at home, come on down and see some hospitality folks!”
NewsChannel 5 partnered with the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corporation to host this event.
The fair was scheduled to last until 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Davidson Ballroom at Music City Center.
