House Damaged In Drive-By Shooting; No Injuries

Two suspects were being sought after a drive-by shooting in Mt. Juliet.

Officials said two concerned citizens called police after hearing gunshots in the 40 block of East Caldwell Street around 2:45 a.m. Sunday.

Police were able to find a single home in that area with gunshot damage.

According to an investigation, two people fired shots at the home from an unknown dark-colored SUV using a handgun and shotgun.

Detectives said they found two shotgun and at least ten handgun impacts, but they confirmed no rounds penetrated the home.

The home was occupied at the time of the shooting. No injuries were reported.
