An investigation has been launched in Montgomery County after a hunter stumbled upon human remains.
Officials with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said the remains were found shortly before 9 a.m. Thursday, in the 3000 block of Tarsus Road.
The discovery was made by a man who was hunting in the Palmyra community, which is located about 10 miles southwest of Clarksville.
Investigators have confirmed that the remains were human.
Neither the victim’s name nor cause of death was immediately known.
