A crash involving multiple vehicles has shut down a portion of Interstate 440.
The wreck happened in the westbound lanes of the interstate at Interstate 40 just after noon on Wednesday.
Details had not been released regarding the cause of the crash or any injuries that may have been involved.
Authorities said the roadway was closed to westbound traffic. Eastbound drivers were not affected.
Crews said the roadway was cleared around 1 p.m.
