A massive manhunt got underway in western Kentucky after an inmate escaped from a corrections facility.
Officials with Kentucky State Police said 40-year-old Lostia Shreves, of Cecilia, Kentucky, went missing around 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Authorities said she stripped of her clothing and left it outside of the prison.
It’s not yet known how she was able to escape.
Shreves reportedly took off from the prison grounds in a stolen vehicle.
She was serving time for a probation violation for a felony offense; however, law enforcement is not taking this escape lightly.
Shreves violated probation for her charges of first degree possession of a controlled substance, distribution of methamphetamine, and burglary.
