A man was recovering after a shooting in South Nashville.
The incident happened just before 12:30 a.m. Friday on Apache Trail.
The man told officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department he was shot in the arm while in the parking lot of his apartment complex.
However, police said his story conflicted with witnesses’ accounts that the gunshot sounded like it came from inside the unit.
The man was expected to be okay. No further details were immediately available as the investigation was ongoing.
