A man has been arrested in Logan County, Kentucky on crimes related to child sexual exploitation.
Officials with the Kentucky State Police said they took 23-year-old Thomas A. Mason into custody on charges related to possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.
The arrest came as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.
KSP officials said they began the investigation after discovering Mason had allegedly uploaded images of child exploitation online.
As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was executed at a home in Russellville on Thursday, and authorities seized equipment that had reportedly been used to commit the crime.
Mason was charged with 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. He was being held in the Logan County Detention center.
The investigation remained ongoing.
