Nearby buildings surrounding the fire were abandoned, leaving officials trying to figure out what sparked the massive blaze.
Flames could be seen reaching heights of 20-feet as it burned in the middle of the woods. The abandoned structures have also been damaged.
Officials said rain expected Thursday could help eliminate most of the flames, but they added the fire would smolder for several days.
Six fire departments have assisted in fighting the fire.
No injuries had been reported.
Authorities said the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
