Human trafficking has been a real issue in the Mid-State. That's why a Rutherford County woman started a ministry to help people who have been victims of the crime.
Candy Carter, the founder and executive director or Last Call 4 Grace Ministries, said she meets people often who don't realize this problem is a reality for many people in our area.
Last Call 4 Grace Ministries is a non-profit and has relied on donations to help victims of human trafficking.
