Law Enforcement officers in Sumner County braved the rain to head to the racetrack for a good cause.
The race was set for Saturday night at the Highland Rim Speedway. Robertson County law enforcement officers raced earlier in 2016.
Now, the winners from both of those races have been set to face off in September.
When Robertson County officials raced, a local food bank benefited, and Saturday night, children were on the receiving end as they raised money and supplies for Ashley's Place.

The rain Saturday night caused a delay, and the date for the September race has not yet been announced.
