A 20-year-old man has been taken into custody after allegedly robbing three people in downtown Nashville.

Officials with Metro Nashville Police said Manolito Jemison II robbed two women at gunpoint around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday at the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.

A short time later, Jemison also allegedly robbed a third person after abandoning his bicycle near the Nashville Farmer’s Market.

The victim went to a gas station near Rosa L. Parks Boulevard and Jefferson Street, where he phoned police.

As he was talking to dispatch, he spotted the suspect at an Advanced Financial business across the street. Police said he was trying to trade in bills from the victims so they couldn't be traced back to him.

Officers arrived on the scene and took Jemison into custody.

It’s unknown exactly what charges he faces at this time. He was held on a $310,000 bond.
