A man has been arrested after allegedly robbing three shoppers while they were loading items into their cars in south Nashville.
All three incidents were reported within minutes of one another on Sunday.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said 33-year-old Jonathon Rigsby first robbed a woman in a Walmart parking lot as she was loading items into her car.
About 30 minutes later, a second woman was robbed at Supermercado and just minutes later, another woman was targeted at a CVS on Harding Place.
Police said Rigsby pretended to have a gun in all three incidents and got away with the women’s purses.
From there, he allegedly fled in a red Pontiac.
At some point, he was pulled over and detectives said a woman’s credit card and driver’s license was found in the car.
Rigsby faces at least three counts of aggravated robbery and drug charges after paraphernalia was reportedly found in his vehicle.
