Officers with the Millersville Police Department arrested a man on multiple counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Authorities said the investigation began in September of 2014.
Police executed a search warrant at the home of Christopher M. Potter where they found multiple electronic items that were sent to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for analysis.
Detectives received a report from the TBI in February which stated three of the devices had the presence of child pornography.
Potter was indicted by the Robertson County Grand Jury.
He was arrested Wednesday on two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of sexual exploitation of a minor over 50 images.
Potter was booked into the Robertson County Jail.
