A man who was arrested in Lebanon during a hostage situation has received additional charges.

Authorities said Andrew Gibbs was arrested a week before the additional charges during an incident in the 100 block of Trusty Road.

Officials searched that home at the consent of the homeowner, and an investigation showed Gibbs had allegedly tried to get people to break into the home to get the items he had hidden there on the day of the hostage situation.

According to reports, officials found a 9 mm handgun, 3/4 of a pound of meth commonly referred to as ICE, one ounce of heroin, a bag of prescription pills, and a small amount of marijuana.

Gibbs was charged after the items were recovered. The investigation remained ongoing.
