A man has been booked in jail after turning himself in to police for murder.
James Lee Simpson, age 29, has been accused of shooting and killing 32-year-old Keon Hawkins and Hawkin's stepson, 22-year-old Kemontanez Armstrong, during a gunfire exchange in a North Nashville neighborhood on June 7.
Simpson turned himself in around 8 a.m. Saturday and was being held at Metro Jail.
He's a previous convicted felon and was facing two counts of criminal homicide.
