A man has been charged with murder in connection with a fatal shooting in Rutherford County.
The incident happened shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday on St. Francis Avenue in Smyrna.
Officials with Smyrna Police said two men, identified as Reggie Bowling and Keith Jackson, got into an argument.
At some point, Jackson was fatally shot.
Bowling has been charged with first degree murder in the case. His bond was set at $500,000.
Police said no additional information would immediately be released. The investigation remained ongoing.
