A man was fatally shot in a parking lot behind a hookah lounge, and police have been searching for the suspect.
The incident happened around 1 a.m. Sunday in the 3800 block of Gallatin Pike behind the Cloud IX Hookah Bar and Lounge.
The victim who was killed has been identified as 27-year-old Nigel Phill.
Reports stated two groups of people were seen in the parking lot when shots were fired.
Phill was hit and taken by personal vehicle to Skyline Medical Center where he passed away.
Police said several people were there at the time of the shooting. The suspect has only been described as a man wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
