There was a dramatic rescue as firefighters in Nashville spent close to 30 minutes trying to free a man from his truck.
The crash happened around 1:45 a.m. Sunday when the man was driving his truck on Ellington Parkway in East Nashville.
Police said the driver somehow lost control of the wheel, and that's when his truck went crashing through the guardrail and into a hill in the center median.
Multiple firefighters had to work furiously to get him to safety before he was rushed to Skyline Medical Center.
The driver was hurt, but emergency responders called his injuries non-life threatening.
Traffic slowed down quite a bit on Ellington Parkway because everything was blocked off, so cars had to drive on the shoulder.
No further details were released.
