A man has been indicted on attempted murder charges after allegedly shooting up a residence with children inside.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said 21-year-old Courtlyn Hendricks shot at a random apartment with a 4-year-old child and a teenager inside.
He had been visiting the mother of his child at Trinity Village Apartments.
Police were called to the scene after an argument ensued.
At some point, Hendricks allegedly pulled a gun and opened fire at them and a nearby apartment.
No one was hurt.
Hendricks has been taken into custody on an indictment charging him with attempted second degree murder.
