A man was airlifted to Nashville after a shooting in Montgomery County.
Officials with Clarksville Police began receiving 911 calls about multiple gunshots in the 800 block of Peachers Mill Road early Wednesday morning.
One of the callers said a man had been shot and was outside the front door of one of the apartments.
Around 12:30 a.m., police and paramedics responded to the scene and found the male victim, who had been shot twice.
According to investigators, the victim doesn't live at the apartment where he was found.
The man was airlifted by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with serious injuries. His condition was not known.
