A man was taken to an area hospital after a shooting outside an apartment complex north of Nashville.
The incident was reported late Monday night at the Skyline Village Apartments on Creekwood Drive.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said witnesses heard shots and looked outside to see a man on the ground.
A friend rushed him to an area hospital where he was treated for a non-life-threatening injury to his left leg.
The victim said the shooter was inside a black sedan.
Police responded to the scene but found no evidence of a shooting.
