Police have arrested a suspect accused of robbing and shooting a man in the driveway of his Nashville home.
The incident happened back on August 23, 2015 at a home on Haynes Park Drive, located north of downtown.
According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville Police, the defendant was waiting on a ride when another vehicle pulled into his driveway.
A suspect, identified as 36-year-old Waymond L. Everett, Jr., allegedly got out and began arguing with the victim. At some point, police said Everett demanded his cellphone and cash before firing several shots.
The victim was struck once in the shoulder.
Everett reportedly fled the scene while neighbors called police.
The 36-year-old suspect was later identified in a photo lineup. He was charged with especially aggravated robbery and held on a $150,000 bond.
