A search got underway for at least two suspects overnight after a man was shot during an attempted robbery in south Nashville.
The incident happened around midnight Thursday at the J.C. Napier Homes on Claiborne Street.
According to officials with Metro Nashville Police, at least two men in a four-door, black truck pulled up next the victim, at which point the passenger demanded money.

When the victim said he didn't have any, he was reportedly shot.
The victim was struck in the leg and taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was expected to survive.
There was no immediate description of the suspects.
