A man was critically injured after he was shot multiple times in north Nashville.
The incident happened shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday on 16th Avenue North.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said they arrived on the scene and found a man in his early 20s who’d been shot multiple times.
It’s unclear what led up to the shooting.
The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he is in critical condition. His name was not known.
Police said a motive has not yet been determined.
At this time, the suspect description is vague. Detectives said they’re looking for the driver of a dark-colored car with dark-tinted windows.
Investigators said they’re hopeful people in the neighborhood might have seen something.
