Officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department have been searching for the gunmen who shot a man outside an Antioch club.

Investigators said 27-year-old Josh Simmons was shot in the arm while trying to leaving REIGN Nightclub & Sportsbar on Murfreesboro Pike early Sunday morning. He was reportedly kicked out due to an unrelated incident prior to the shooting.

Simmons told NewsChannel 5 he was parked in the back of the club and noticed his tires were flat. He parked his SUV in the front parking lot of Priest Lake Plaza with a feeling the air was intentionally let out.

According to police, an older white four-door Sedan pulled up next to his SUV and fired several shots.

One bullet struck Simmons and several hit his vehicle.

Simmons was taken to TriStar Southern Hills Medical center for a minor wound.

He couldn't describe the suspects but believed two men fired shots at him.
